The Horizon House Volunteer Program has been dedicated to educating and engaging individuals to become life-long community advocates for the homeless. We believe that ending homelessness is a community effort. Success can only be achieved by employing the capabilities, resources and energies of our community. That is why we strive to provide a holistic approach to volunteerism that includes both service and learning. Typical volunteer activities in the past have included:

Volunteer Information Sessions take place at Horizon House on:
First Monday of each month, 12 -1 pm.
The session will include basic information about Horizon House services, a tour, information about ways to volunteer, and the opportunity to sign up to volunteer.
If you are unable to attend a regularly scheduled orientation, contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Brenda Reiff, to inquire about the possibility of scheduling another time.
