January Metrics

Over 20% more neighbors came through our doors in January as compared to the previous January. We have typically seen 160 neighbors a day. In January, the number rose to 200 neighbors a day. Serving so many neighbors takes a toll on our resources. We hope we can count on you to support us to meet the increased need through in-kind donations and funding.

Wish List

Our neighbors need basic items including:

  • Men’s & women’s underwear sizes L, XL & XXL
  • Men’s jeans, khakis, black pants (gently used or new)
  • Twin blade disposable razors
  • Peanut butter & Jelly
  • Wallets (gently used as a place to store ID)

Please bring to 1033 E. Washington St., enter thru door on Southeastern Ave. and let Front Desk Staff know you are there to donate.

Monday – Friday 7am to 3pm

Employment Seminar Helps Neighbors Ace Interviews

Did you know that we help neighbors move towards self-sufficiency through our Job Readiness Training (JRT) program? Last year, 143 jobs were secured by neighbors in JRT. To further assist job candidates, we invite speakers to present on employment topics. Most recently, Express Employment Professionals did an outstanding seminar on “Conquering the Interview”.
