In 2010, neighbors had more than 3,793 meetings with case managers - a 42% increase from 2009. 220 individuals completed a week-long job readiness program and employment was confirmed for 99 neighbors.

The Horizon House Volunteer Program is dedicated to educating and engaging individuals to become life-long community advocates for the homeless. We believe that ending homelessness is a community effort. Success can only be achieved by employing the capabilities, resources and energies of our community. That is why we strive to provide a holistic approach to volunteerism that includes both service and learning.

Regular volunteer hours are during regular business hours of 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday. Additional times can be scheduled for groups and special projects.

All potential individual volunteers must first attend a Volunteer Orientation Session, hosted at Horizon House. You can view upcoming orientation sessions under the "Events" tab of our website.
