Horizon House sponsored a fun-filled evening of trivia, prizes, costumes and food! 13 teams dressed up, showed their trivia knowledge and helped Horizon House collect a little over 1,000 pairs of socks. In addition to our emcee Ed Maudlin, many thanks to our sponsors: Brozinni’s, Sun King Brewery, The Lavengood Team, Naptown Roller Derby.
Veteran’s Day Service & Luncheon
On Friday, November 10, Horizon House honored those among our neighbors who have served our country. Volunteer Chris Cesnik spoke a few words in honor of all veterans. A flag-raising ceremony and presentation of American flag pins to veterans present was followed by a delicious lunch of fried chicken and all the fixings. Many thanks to our friends at The Creek for making this event a special time for our neighbors.
